FASHION BUSINESS STRATEGIST
Where Experience Meets Opportunity
I work with fashion businesses at moments where important decisions need to be made whether that means developing a new category, strengthening a product proposition, entering a new market or building the systems required to scale.
1
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Product development is where creativity meets discipline.
A product may begin as an idea, but transforming that idea into something commercially relevant requires structure, technical understanding, customer insight, and production feasibility.
My experience across design, sampling, merchandising, sourcing, and retail allows me to evaluate products from multiple perspectives before they reach the market.
2
CATEGORY DEVELOPMENT
Successful fashion businesses don't think in terms of individual garments.
They think in terms of categories.
Categories reveal customer behavior, identify growth opportunities, and establish long-term business direction.
My experience in category leadership ensures how strategic planning can transform an underperforming category into a significant business driver.
3
DESIGN & SAMPLING
Design is often viewed as an isolated creative activity.
In reality, successful design depends on understanding construction, materials, manufacturing constraints, timelines, and production capabilities.
My approach to design emphasizes feasibility, commercial viability alongside creativity.
4
SOURCING & PRODUCTION
Even exceptional products can fail because of inefficient sourcing and inconsistent production systems.
Vendor relationships, procurement practices, material selection, manufacturing coordination, and quality control are fundamental to long-term growth.
Over the years, I have worked extensively with suppliers, manufacturers, production teams, and sourcing networks across the apparel ecosystem.
5
BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION
Growth often exposes weaknesses that remain invisible during the early stages of a business.
Teams become larger.
Processes become more complex.
Communication becomes fragmented.
Informal systems stop working.
Business transformation isn't about replacing existing practices. It's about introducing structure while preserving the organization's identity.
MY ROLE ISN'T TO IMPOSE A FORMULA.
Every fashion business is different.
Every product category behaves differently.
Every customer has different expectations.
Which is why I don't believe in standardized solutions.
I believe in understanding the context before designing the answer.
