A Career Built Inside Fashion.
My career has evolved alongside the Indian fashion industry. From organised retail and category management to product development, sourcing, business transformation and consulting, each chapter has added a new perspective to the way he approaches fashion.
What began with design and retail grew into a broader understanding of how products, people, processes and businesses come together. This timeline traces the experiences that have shaped his practice and continue to inform the way he works today.

1993 - 1998
SHOPPERS STOP,
Category Developer.
Played a pivotal role in establishing the Mix & Match women's ethnic section, creating a new approach to how Indian women could shop for separates and ensembles.
1998 - 2003
GLOBUS STORES PVT LTD,
Apparel Merchandising.
Developed in-house sampling for men's and women's wear, reducing production costs by 5% and increasing margins by 7%.


2003 - 2008
BIG BAZAAR - FUTURE GROUP. Ethnic Wear Manager
Led the ethnicwear category, consistently maintaining the highest weekly sales performance while optimising product planning and visual merchandising.
2008 - 2012
GLOBUS STORES PVT LTD. Category Head
Managed the Indianwear category and increased revenue from ₹10 Cr to ₹20 Cr over three years.
The women's Indianwear section reached second position in sales, across both topline and bottom line.


2012 - PRESENT
Disha Lifestyle Pvt Ltd,
Creative Head.
Founded the Indian and Indo-Western division, drove business growth, developed vendor networks and recruited teams. I also launched KamiKubi, the company's online vertical, which became a significant contributor to the business.
